This idea came to me while I was browsing the internet for wedding inspiration. All I kept finding were very basic welcome signs—simple, functional, but then the question arose: what happens to it after the big day? Do you toss it in the trash or stash it away in storage?
I wanted something that could be cherished forever and seamlessly blend into my home decor. That's when I envisioned vintage-inspired ‘poster’ paintings—beautiful artwork that not only impresses your guests but also becomes a stunning piece in your living space.
It’s the best of both worlds: a memorable keepsake from your special day, crafted uniquely to reflect your story and aesthetic. Each design is entirely bespoke, tailored specifically for your celebration and style.
Pricing:
As this is a custom painting, giving an exact price upfront is a bit tricky as each design can be quite different. Price will be determined by a few factors; design time, size of painting, how detailed it is, and how long it will take me to complete.
However, there are base rates for each size:
$2100 for the extra large 91 x 152cm
$1900 for the large 91 x 121cm
$1500 for the medium 60 x 96cm
$1200 for the small 50 x 71cm
Depending on the previous factors, will determine how much the final piece will be. If you're after a different size, I'll be able to give you a base rate for that size also.
A $500 deposit is required to lock in your wedding date and to ensure completion for the pick up date. It also covers my design time and is non refundable (like other deposits, the deposit amount will be subtracted off the total price once paid). The balance of the payment will be required one week before the pick up date.
Once I have received the deposit, I’ll work on your design and we can back and forth- up to 4 times, then each design after that will be an added expense- until you’re happy with it and give me the go ahead to start.
